Scandinavian roots and sustainable design inspired this project. But the length and slope of the hill behind a classically decorated Swedish home was too much a conundrum for the owners to solve on their own. The challenge was to design a colorful pollinator garden with a variety of grasses, and keep it orderly.

The first ten feet play host to lots of colorful perennials lining a staircase, and a new Naval Orange tree. The next 60 feet are divided into six equal sections, repeating the design. Hummingbirds and Monarch butterflies arrived as soon as planting began.
