Services

From small gardens to large residential master plans, we create beautiful, functional, and ecologically sound outdoor spaces.

Design —

From the initial conversation to the finished design, the client’s vision, goals and values are reflected in our work. Depending on the project size, client’s design aesthetics, timeframe, and budget, we will prepare a variety of drawings and documents that meet local codes and illustrate the design intent. These drawings can be casual or city-approved. While drawings and iterations are part of the design process, we understand that not everyone wants or needs to invest in construction documents. We can be quite flexible depending on the scope of the project.

Build —

Once the client is satisfied with the overall plan, and the design has been approved and permits received (if necessary), the buildout begins. Hardscape elements are installed with attention to future lighting, drainage and irrigation needs. The soil is prepared with appropriate amendments to enable future root development and optimize the success of transplantation. Last, trees, shrubs, vines and ground covers are placed and carefully planted. Drip, spray and micro-spray irrigation is installed by planting zone, with adherence to WUCOL specifications. We finish with a thick blanket of nutrient rich mulch.

Maintain —

We pride ourselves on the design of your landscape, and follow the “$10 plant doesn’t belong in a $1 hole” philosophy. Proper maintenance is the difference between a showcase garden and one that sometimes looks good. Whether a general clean-up once a month or weekly fine garden attention, we can provide custom and reliable maintenance services.
